The Dumping Ground star joins Eastenders

Amy-Leigh Hickman, one of the stars of CBBC's award-winning series The Dumping Ground, is set to appear in Eastenders.

She makes her debut next week as Linzi Bragg, a newcomer who seems set for romance with Jay Brown, played by Jamie Borthwick.

18 year old Amy-Leigh (represented by Mark Jermin Management) from London, first appeared as Carmen in Tracy Beaker Returns in 2009 and then as a regular cast member in all three series of The Dumping Ground, the Tracy Beaker spin-off.
