Meet the two new young actors who have joined the Eastenders cast this month.
18 year newcomer Tilly Keeper (represented by D&B) from Chislehurst takes on the role of Louise Mitchell, her first television role.
The daughter of Lisa Fowler and Phil Mitchell, Louise was last seen in EastEnders back in August 2010 after she had been living with Phil. Louise was reunited with Lisa after Peggy feared Phil was in no state to look after his daughter. Shortly after, Phil turned up to visit Louise but was stunned to find her and Lisa had vanished. How will the pair react when they finally come face-to-face again? Now fourteen years old, Louise has a fraught relationship with her mum and is determined to become a true Mitchell. However will she be able to look past Phil’s out of control drinking and how will she fit in with the rest of the Mitchell clan including her half-brother, Ben?
On joining the show, Tilly Keeper says: “I am so thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders, especially to be joining the Mitchell clan! It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to get stuck into the role and see what lies in store for Louise.”
22 year old Joivan Wade (represented by Sainou) will also be joining the cast as Jordan Johnson, the son of 'evil' Lucas. Jordan, now 20, left Walford in 2010 to live with his aunt but returns an angry and damaged young man who will turn Denise and her family’s lives upside down.
Joivan, a graduate of The Brit School, is a co-writer and star of the critically acclaimed online comedy series Mandem on The Wall, and was a series regular in two series of E4's Youngers. He starred as Rigsy in recent Series 8 of Doctor Who to massive critical acclaim and will return for Series 9.
On landing the role Joivan said: “Coming into EastEnders is an absolute dream. Jordan is going through a very tough time and needs people in his corner but with a Dad like Lucas will he be able to trust anyone? It’s going to be brilliant to play him and I can’t wait to get started.”
