Overall shoot dates: Approx mid January 2016 for 7 weeks.
Unfortunately we can only consider actors within a 20 mile radius of central London, if you live outside Greater London then you must have a London base available.
VERY IMPORTANT - For all three roles - Playing age 17/18 - only accepting applications from actors between theages of 17 - 21 ONLY (no younger or older please)
1. LEAD BOY (character name tbc) THIS IS THE LEAD ROLE IN THE SERIES - Caucasian
Has absorbed an urban swagger despite being MIDDLE CLASS, hoodie up, headphones in, hip hop blasting in order to switch off from a reality he finds difficult. Rage and disappointment against his parents, disdain against authority and apathy towards a world that feels alien to him.
ACCENT: NEUTRAL / MIDDLE CLASS WITH AN URBAN FLAVOUR
2. FAITH - SUPPORTING LEAD ROLE - Black or Mixed race
She is rather bookish, and very academic , uses her intelligence to lose herself in college work to disguise the pain she feels about her life.
ACCENT: NEUTRAL
3. AFZAL - SUPPORTING ROLE - Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani
The best friend of the LEAD BOY confident, charming and energised, all about the fun and all about the girls! . Potential scenes on his moped so actors must be comfortable with that possibility (lessons would be given and all safety aspects taken into account)
