Shooting has commenced on Access All Areas, a wild and uplifting pilgrimage undertaken by runaway teenagers to a magical island music festival. The film started its shoot at Bestival on the Isle of Wight, which included participation from live music acts, and has now moved to Bristol to film on location for five weeks.

Access All Areas is described as an intoxicating and memorable journey in to the magic of music festivals and all the crazy and wonderful things that can happen in these other worlds.

Newcomer Edward Bluemel (represented by Hamilton Hodell) leads the cast as Heath, a young man trying to keep it together. Shackled by his wildly unpredictable mum, he can see no way out of his dead-end urban rut, and music is his only escape. This is Edward's screen debut, he graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama this year, and was the winner of the Highly Commended Prize at this year's Spotlight awards.

18 year old Ella Purnell (represented by Curtis Brown) stars as Mia, who's home is a war zone, so she does what all teenagers do in that situation: she parties every night and refuses to come home. When Mia steal’s Heath’s moped, it catapults them on a road trip out of the city and across the water to a magical music festival that will change their lives.

Ella made her feature film debut as the young version of Keira Knightley’s character in Mark Romanek’s Never Let Me Go, followed by roles in Ways to Live Forever and Intruders. Ella also appeared in Kick-Ass 2, in Disney’s Maleficent as the teen version of the title character, and as the lead role in US festival hit Wildlike which is in US cinemas next week. Her upcoming films include Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children starring alongside Asa Butterfield, and as young Jane in Tarzan.

Playing their friends who join them on journey are 23 year old Jordan Stephens (represented by Independent Talent), half of the hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks, made his acting debut last year in E4’s drama series ‘Glue’. He'll next be seen in bike racing thriller Alleycats.

And 20 year old Georgie Henley (represented by Hamilton Hodell) completes the group of friends on the road trip. Georgie started acting at the age of 10 when she was picked from thousands of girls to play the character of Lucy in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. She reprised her role in the following two Narnia films and recently took the lead roles in Perfect Sisters and The Sisterhood of Night.

Directed by BAFTA nominee Bryn Higgins, Access All Areas is written by Oliver Veysey, who also produces alongside Bill Curbishley, producer of Quadrophenia, and music supervisor and score composer is Rob da Bank.
